Abram’s return for Tall Ships in Falmouth meant only one thing: pool. But not enough of it, as per! Just the one game won by Dixon and taking the score to 45 – 42.

Today’s session was between Dixon and one Colin Ramsay. Things got off to an exciting start with Dixon 7-balling Ramsay right off the bat. Unfortunately Cowardly Colin showed disdain for trow-down tradition, refusing to down his trow instead exclaiming, “You don’t want to see what’s under there!” Commando? A thong? Answers on a postcard.
The second frame was just as dramatic with Cowardly Colin 7-balling Dixon in return. Dixon fulfilled his trow-down obligations, the usual tears replaced with a smile due to the rarity of back-to-back trow-downs.
The final score was 4-3 to Dixon.
Covid doesn’t exist anymore, but pule does. Dixon won the session by 1 game, we think it was 2-1..
One a piece, need more pule.
Christmas came early for Dixon with a flurry of victories over the Yuletide season. Both contenders were disappointed with the lack of pants on display but have vowed to make 2017, “Year of the Trow-Down”.
5 frames on the trot (0-3, 0-2) reduces the deficit to 7 (39-32).
Finally, the boys, have come back, to Falmouth!
The specific date/dates has/have been forgotten but over the summer 6 games were played, each player racking up another 3 wins, bringing the overall score to 39-27.
The boys managed to squeeze in a quick 5 frames (4 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday) whilst in Exeter drinking at James Hornblower’s new bar. To Dixon’s extreme disappoint all 5 were claimed by Abram as he begins to develop a commanding lead..
The boys have finally crossed the 50 frame marker with a single session ending 4-3 to Abram (31-24 overall). Roll on the next 50!
