It’s been almost a year since the last game so, understandably, the second Abram was available it was time to do business – the weekend consisted of a trio of sessions. Things started off slowly in The Jake’s on Friday (1 – 2) which was followed by a respectable 10 frames in Oddie’s on Saturday afternoon (5 – 5), before the final showdown saw Abram steam into the lead, taking all 4 frames of the session (4 – 0). Dejected, humiliated, Dixon swore revenge.
The weekend’s score of 10 – 7 brings the current overall score to 27 – 21 – almost 50 frames!
